1991-08-28 Dedication to Snuggles

American-Eskimo-dogImage via WikipediaCasey Kasem had become an American institution. He did a "teen dance" program in LA when I was in high school, and then he went on to do America's Top Ten for a long time. Thanks to Negativland for capturing him getting ticked off during the program about the way they made him do a feature on the death of "a little dog named Snuggles." One thing about this show is that there is a patch during the first part where obviously someone pressed "record" while the cassette was in a boom box, and we get a few minutes of whatever is happening then (mostly me talking nonsense). Sorry about that. The rest of the program continues after this interruption. Interesting mixes.

Music included: Negativland, Consolidated, Trance Trax, AUW, Meat Beat Manifesto, Test Department, My Life in the Thrill Kill Cult, Orb. Chris & Cosey, Sickmob, Psychic TV, Coil, Invisible Spike, Tackhead, Nubile G & Spurious Whiz, Edwards & Armani, M.E.S.H., Greedy Beat Syndicate and a lot more.
