It was clear even in 1998 what kind of music was really turning me on -- ambient beats and grooves. After I stopped doing radio I began tuning into http://somafm.com/ stations like Groove Salad and Space Station that I really liked this stuff. This program is an example of how I was finding and enjoying this kind of music some eight years ago. The artists included Rinneradio, Symetrics, 4 AM, Peace Division, the Persuader, Sun Electric, Isole, DJ Sneak, Enhanded, David Morley, the Potheads, Mandragora, Banco de Gaia and more.
