1988-09-14 Revival

The Doctor's calling card (from Remembrance of...Image via Wikipedia
"The Dark Side" introduction, followed by Tom Baker's final scene as the Doctor on Doctor Who, followed by a mixture of religious verbiage along with some music, industrial and protoindustrial, mixed together. I did play some of my voice tapes made at the time that Jim Jones was convincing those of his flock with him to drink the poison Kool-Aid. These are some of the scariest tapes I have ever heard. "Overcome by religious fervor, this is WRUV-FM, Burlington." Some of this stuff is also taken from the sound tracks of various movies that were mocking television evangelists.

It is true, I was fortunate that blasphemy laws are no longer enforced.

Music included:
Psychic TV, Wavy Gravy, Gerbert Singers, Data Bank A, Tammy Faye Bakker, PrayerTV, Jim Jones (real voice), Mark Stewart and the Maffia, Frontline Assembly, Reverend Buck, Doctor John the Night Tripper, Abdo-Men, Cabaret Voltaire, Acoustic Iatrogenesis, Pope John Paul, Karmaseptic, Healed for a Day, Tackhead, and a lot more.
