Image via WikipediaThis is a holiday that I treasure as a radio event., I have spent many years collecting snippets and sound effects that might be relevant for Halloween, and now I get to put them all together. It became a show people would remember, tape and collect. I remember putting one of these shows on while the debate team was driving across the country in a van and their response was fairly dramatic, if nothing else.Music and sounds included: Hunting Lodge, Severed Heads, Joy Division, Tuxedo Moon, Chris & Cosey, David Bowie, Sleep Chamber, but also sounds from Evil Dead, Night of the Living Dead, movie previews, many different sound effects records, and a lot more.
