1991-12-11 Sound Test

Microphone shadows (HOTEL live)Image by JF Sebastian via Flickr"Broken fingers talk, they grasp at straw, but I heard a voice in there, there's no one there at all. Oh, what have we done, to come to this, huddling on some foreign shore, scanning the abyss?"

There is so much variety in this show, and as soon as one mode gets old, another is kicking in. OK, I am biased, but this seems like one of the best shows.

"And then they had a test."

"Abraham Lincoln said all men were created equal, but then Abraham never saw Bo Diddley in the shower."

Music included: Blaine L. Reininger, SPK, Legendary Pink Dots, Aqsak Maboul, Residents, Edward Ka-spel, Nurse with Wound, Hula, Potato Singers, Thick Pigeon, Negativland, Tapebeatles, Brian Eno, Graeme Revell, Bill Nelson, Nocturnal Emissions, Psychic TV and a lot more.
